What we offer
urlu combines a QR code generator, URL shortener, and Markdown/HTML document publishing in one place. The web UI and REST API are free with no authentication. QR output is PNG or SVG across eight content types (URL, text, Wi-Fi, contact, and more).
Short links redirect with HTTP 307 at /s/{code}, with optional expiry and click counts. Documents live at /posts/{id} and can be edited or deleted only with the editToken issued at publish time.
Why it exists
We built urlu so you do not have to hop between tools when turning a long URL into a printable QR. The API exposes permissive CORS for browsers, scripts, and agents.

Operations and contact
urlu is operated as a personal/small project. Availability and data retention depend on the deployment (e.g., whether Supabase is configured)—see the storage notice on the home page.
Report bugs, partnership ideas, or takedown requests through the published contact channel (repository issues or operator email). Links and documents used for spam or illegal purposes may be restricted without notice.
